I am a UK-based mountain bike photographer working out of Bath. After graduating with a BA (Hons) in Documentary Photography in 2002, I started my professional career at a local newspaper in Devon before spending nine years as an agency photographer, covering news, sport and features for the national newspapers. That work continues as a freelancer, and the experience of working to tight deadlines and in fast-moving environments continues to shape a practical, story-led approach to my photography. My work has appeared in all of the British national newspapers and further afield.
I’ve been riding mountain bikes for over 35 years and have always photographed the sport alongside my press work. Since going freelance in 2011, my focus has shifted toward mountain biking, producing imagery that balances action, atmosphere, and a strong sense of place. I now work with commercial cycling clients and bike magazines, bringing a rider’s understanding of terrain, light, and timing to every shoot.
